How to Design a Continuously Deployable Web Architecture

Virginia Mushkatblat

Development seems pretty easy when you are fourteen and learn to program your first FORTRAN module. The most important thing to remember is I,J,K,L,M,N and their role as integer holders. Than you get into real life and you are not alone developing anymore. There is a TEAM. There are structures and algorithms, and structures are managed with different tools, algorithms are programed in different languages and you are dealing with computers, and their architectures and limitations. Life all of a sudden becomes unbelievably complex. People, hardware, and tools interact and first you feel you are in chaos. Then -slowly, painfully- you learn how to manage chaos. You learn and understand the PROCESS. You can picture how this whole world SHOULD work. Things fall in place. I am in software business for 15+ years, and things constantly fell into and out of place for me during these years. Per advice of Woody, I am listing here my credentials so that you know I am not a complete buff and have some formal education and experience. I have MS in CS and am a CSM, I worked for the giants like Disney, BOA and TVguide and for promising start-ups as well.

Databases and SDLC.

Harout Katerjian

Hi, since I was a kid I was always fascinated with computer - more specifically, with software. I started coding in high school on a computer-controlled rover which I built from scratch. Granted, It was a 8085 processor with a Assembly Code but it was enough to get me to fall in love with it. Since those days I have graduated to building companies and technologies which utilize large web-enabled systems. Though I have a love for technology, my true passion is User Interaction Design. It is through this that I have been able to let the technology I produce be the most productive and useful for those who interact with it.
